Open Cell or Closed Cell?

There are two types of spray foam, and the right one depends on the building and how it is used. We survey first and recommend accordingly.

Open cell spray foam is lighter and more economical, with excellent thermal performance for warm, dry, enclosed spaces such as office units and garden rooms.

Closed cell spray foam is denser and more rigid. It adds structural strength, resists moisture and delivers a higher insulation value per millimetre — making it the usual choice for metal-framed and agricultural buildings, containers and underfloor and slab applications.
